Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics, development studies, gender, or related disciplines
  • 3 years of relevant experience (UN Women does not count internships.)
  • Knowledge of international labour standards, employment policies or social protection policies
  • Excellent oral and written English. Knowledge of Georgian and/or Russian an asset.
  • Strong interest in a career in the United Nations
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in international law, international relations, political science, human rights, or related field
  • At least three years of work experience in international relations, human rights, political affairs, international criminal law or related fields. UNDPA counts relevant internships at 50%.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to a range of issues relevant to the prevention of atrocity crimes, including political, human rights, economic and social issues
  • knowledge of the work and operations of the United Nations in the field of political affairs, human rights, peace and security and related matters
  • Fluency and excellent drafting skills in English, with working knowledge of French Knowledge of two official languages of Switzerland
  • Knowledge of Arabic is desirable
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

  • Master’s degree in Law or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of relevant paid work experience in governance, rule of law and rights-based development. Internships are not counted as relevant experience by UNDP.
  • Work experience in developing countries, preferably in the Asia-Pacific regionis desirable
  • English and one other official UN language
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews
