Foundation
cinfo is the Centre for Information, Counselling and Training for Professions Relating to International Cooperation (IC). cinfo was established as a foundation in 1990 by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). cinfo supports SDC in its mandate to inform the Swiss public about professional opportunities in IC.
Our mission
- Inform the public about the job market, stakeholders and educational opportunities in IC
- Provide career counselling to IC professionals or persons who are interested in employment in IC
- Prepare skilled professionals for IC assignments
- Promote intercultural skills among IC workers
- Inform Swiss citizens about employment opportunities in international organisations and support qualified candidates during the application process
- Support international organisations in their efforts to recruit qualified Swiss citizens
- Promote the exchange of knowledge and experience in the IC job market among IC organisations
