  • Center for African Studies Basel

    The unit 'Human Geography' of the Department of Geography at the University of Zürich is engaged in a range of topics regarding development research, area studies in Southeast and South Asia as well as in social and cultural geography in general. The Development Study Group coordinates the development-related research of the department.
  • UNO Academia
    UNO Academia has been developed at the initiative of the Political Division III of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). It aims to build a Swiss research network relating to questions of the United Nations Organisation (UNO). The network strives to stimulate the exchange of information, especially through the organisation of an annual conference, and to promote the cooperation between academics, international organisations (with a seat in Switzerland) and the FDFA in domains related to the UN.
