The cfd is a feminist peace organisation. It campaigns for women, peace and justice.

Protection from violence, economic empowerment, social and political participation and feminist peace policy are our four thematic priorities in Switzerland and abroad, contributing to the dignified and equal participation of women and girls.

How we work

Our projects give women in South-Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Maghreb the opportunity to improve their living conditions both socially and economically. In Switzerland, we run projects with migrant women and organise the 16 Days campaign against violence against women. The empowerment projects promote the participation of women in social and political decision-making processes.

Women should play an equal role in shaping society socially, economically and politically. Sustainable peace is based on equality and justice. We are committed to this in international cooperation as well as in migration and peace policy in Switzerland.
