New JPO vacancy at EBRD for Swiss nationals

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in social sciences, sustainable development, communications or other related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of stakeholder engagement, comprising planning and implementing stakeholder engagement activities with a variety of stakeholder groups (government/public institutions; NGOs; members of the public, etc.), including within the context of cities and/or urban communities. EBRD counts internships at 100% rate.
• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of applying IFIInternational Financial Institution or equivalent international stakeholder engagement standards.
• Experience working with cities/municipalities.
• Experience working in EBRD countries of operation.
• Well-developed negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.

Assets

• Understanding of urban sustainability, energy, environment and development challenges in the EBRD region is highly desirable.
• Specific experience in engagement with women and vulnerable groups is considered a distinct advantage.
• Experience of a variety of stakeholder engagement tools, including innovative digital tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is highly desirable.

Duration

• 2 years assignment (1 year renewable fixed-term contracts).
