New JPO vacancy at WHO for Swiss nationals

Currently, we have the following open position with the World Health Organization:

WHO: Technical Officer – Healthy Cities (JPOJunior Professional Officer , P-2) - Geneva

This position is financed by SDCSwiss Agency for Development and Cooperation

Requirements

  • Strong interest in a longer-term career with the United Nations
  • Master’s degree
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Public Health,  Health Promotion, Community Engagement and any other relevant areas. Internships are not counted as relevant experience by WHO.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of a second UN language
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

Duration

  • 2-3 year assignment (1 year renewable fixed-term contracts)
