Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative
Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative is a not-for-profit research organization that develops new treatments for neglected patients.
We discover, develop, and deliver new treatments for neglected patients around the world that are affordable and patient-friendly – and have already saved millions of lives.
Focusing on the following sustainable development goals (SDGs)
How we work
Acting in the public interest, DNDi fills existing R&D gaps for essential drugs for these diseases by initiating and coordinating drug R&D projects in collaboration with the international research community, the public sector, the pharmaceutical industry and other relevant partners.
... and why
Millions of people around the world die every year for lack of treatment. Yet only a fraction of global pharmaceutical research and development focuses on diseases that affect poor and vulnerable communities.
Our vision is to save lives and improve the health of people living with neglected diseases by using an alternative model to develop medicines for these diseases and by ensuring equitable access to treatment.
Seeking candidates mainly in
At DNDi, our work starts with our people: we want to recruit people who reflect and understand the diversity of needs and experiences of the people we serve.
If you are passionate about equitable access to healthcare; willing to thrive in a diverse, multilingual and global workplace; highly skilled in your field; committed to using your knowledge and skills for the greater good; respectful, collegial and good-humoured... we want to work with you!
