Welcome to WomIN+

WomIN+ is a Swiss network for individuals who identify as women in multilateral organisations. It fosters support, mentorship, and career development. The network organises networking events, promotes diversity, and supports balancing career and family while advancing gender equality and leadership roles.

About the network

WomIN+ is a community of Swiss women launched in September 2023 that gathers over 140 members from across 25 multilateral organisations. By connecting a wide network of rich experiences and valuable expertise, it aspires to nurture a community of support that learns from and mentors each other.

The community values and promotes diversity ‒ celebrating the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences of its members. WomIN+ embraces the wealth of life experiences, multiculturality, and gender and sexual diversity of the members who identify as women.

Areas of interest and priority

WomIN+ organises thematic networking events that provide deeper insights into organisations and facilitate exclusive dialogues with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). The network offers pathways to balance career and family, enhancing job security and supporting the development of a successful career. By advancing gender equality and promoting diversity across the multilateral system, particularly in top leadership roles, WomIN+ plays a crucial role in fostering inclusive workplaces. The network also promotes collaborative sessions with other communities and encourages participation in key events like the cinfo forum and Women in International Trade gatherings.
