New JPO vacancy at EBRD for Swiss nationals

Currently, we have the following open position with The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development:

EBRDEuropean Bank for Reconstruction and Development : Associate, Climate Resilience Investments (JPOJunior Professional Officer , P2) – London

This position is financed by SECOState Secretariat for Economic Affairs .

Requirements

  • A Masters' degree in a relevant technical discipline such as mathematics, engineering, environment, science or technology.
  • At least 3 years experience in relevant technical and commercial work gained from an engineering and/or consultancy firm, a company operating in a relevant engineering, scientific or research sector; a bank, equity fund, advisory services, a corporate finance firm with a demonstrable track record of successful project development. EBRD counts internships at 100% rate.
  • Data driven individual who is comfortable with quantitative data.
  • Strong quantitative analytical background.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with climate resilience or related initiatives with a strong awareness and interest in related issues (climate change, water management, resource efficiency, infrastructure planning).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

  • 2 years assignment (1 year renewable fixed-term contracts)

  • Please be aware that the recruitment process may take 3 to 6 months. You are expected to start your assignment within 3 months following notification of selection.
