New JPO vacancy at EBRD for Swiss nationals

Currently, we have the following open position with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development:

EBRDEuropean Bank for Reconstruction and Development : Associate/Analyst, Smart Green Cities (JPOJunior Professional Officer ) – London

This position is financed by SECOState Secretariat for Economic Affairs

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in city infrastructure in either engineering, environmental urban planning, economics, or any other related field.
  • And a Master’s degree in climate finance/urban planning/engineering/economics/environment or closely related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in the delivery of green infrastructure investments, ideally with a focus on smart and/or, cities. EBRD counts internships at 100% rate.
  • Understanding of the urban sustainability, energy, environment and development challenges in the EBRD region.
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, to deadlines and under time pressure.
  • Computer literacy, conversant with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet packages.
  • Excellent oral and written English skills.

Duration

  • 2 years assignment (1 year renewable fixed-term contracts).

Start date

  • Please be aware that the recruitment process may take 3 to 6 months. You are expected to start your assignment within 3 months following notification of selection.
