Currently, we have the following open position with the United Nations Population Fund.

UNFPAUnited Nations Population Fund , Programme Analyst, Youth and Gender (JPOJunior Professional Officer , P-2), Harare, Zimbabwe

This position is financed by SDCSwiss Agency for Development and Cooperation .


  • Strong interest in a longer term career with the United Nations
  • Masters degree in social sciences or related fields with specialized knowledge in the field of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Gender
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional work experience in development or humanitarian work on SRHR and/or gender. UNFPA counts internships at 100% if relevant and paid.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of a second UN language
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews


  • 2 to 3-year assignment (fixed-term contract)
