New JPO vacancy at UNICEF for Swiss nationals

Currently, we have the following open position with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund.

UNICEFUnited Nations Children's Fund , Evaluation Officer (JPOJunior Professional Officer , P-2), New York

This position is financed by SDCSwiss Agency for Development and Cooperation .

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in a longer term career with the United Nations
  • Masters degree in in social science, economics, international or development studies, monitoring and evaluation or related field is required
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional work experience, including two years of professional experience  in evaluation. UNICEF counts internships at 100% if relevant and paid
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with methods and technologies applicable to evaluation is an asset, including experience with digital data collection, analysis of big data sets, and use of new methods in evaluation.
  • Knowledge of current development issues is required
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of a second UN language
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

Duration:

  • 2 to 3-year assignment (fixed-term contract)
