New JPO vacancy at WBG for Swiss nationals

Currently, we have the following open position at the World Bank Group:

WBGWorld Bank Group : Governance Analyst (climate change) (JPOJunior Professional Officer ) - Washington D.C.

This position is financed by SECOState Secretariat for Economic Affairs .


  • A Masters' degree in Economics, Public Administration or a relevant field
  • At least 3 years experience working on institutional development issues, ideally with experience in public finance and public sector management is required. WBG counts internships at 100% rate
  • Strong organizational, research, and oral presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and intercultural environment, with minimal supervision
  • Hands-on and action-oriented approach
  • Computer skills familiarity with office, webpage editing and basic statistical packages.
  • Enthusiasm for work on climate change, curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Willing to travel to developing countries
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews


  • 2-5 year assignment (1 year renewable fixed-term contracts)
