The Swiss TPH offers courses in three subjects at the University of Basel (biology, epidemiology and medicine) at the bachelor’s and master’s degree level.
For advanced training at a postgraduate level, the Swiss TPH offers MBA-, MAS-, DAS- and CAS-programmes for health personnel from Europe and from countries with limited resources.

Many master’s and doctoral students work on projects in countries with limited resources. Individual courses are also taught in developing countries: for example, “How to plan successfully” is run in Tanzania and “Medical priorities & clinical tropical medicine” in Laos.
