The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of the largest environmental organisations in the world. Together with our more than 5 million members worldwide, we are actively working in more than 100 countries for a healthy and living planet - for us and for future generations.

How we work

Worldwide, over 6000 employees in more than 100 countries work together on six global goals: Oceans are managed and protected so that people and species continue to benefit from them; the condition of the world's most important forests is improved; we work for a renewable and fair energy future; freshwater ecosystems continue to serve people and nature; the populations of key endangered species can be stabilised and expanded again; the global food system conserves the planet's resources.

On every continent there are particularly species-rich regions where nature presents us with all its beauty. WWF works globally to protect these biodiversity hotspots.
