FGC brings together some 60 Geneva-based organisations active in development cooperation and raising public awareness in Geneva of international solidarity and North-South issues.
Since 1966, FGC works with its member organisations and their partners to tackle inequalities worldwide and to empower people to build their economic, social and cultural well-being.
FGC acts as an interface between its members and the public authorities, to mobilise funds at national, cantonal and local levels.
FGC contributes to the realisation of the 2030 Agenda in its field of expertise: financing of development projects, knowledge sharing and raising public awarness on global issues.

How we work
FGC acts as an interface between its members, their partners in the field and the public bodies that participate in funding development projects in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
FGC carries out activities and supports information projects of member to invite the public to discuss global issues and development cooperation practices.
The FGC dedicates time to the exchange of experiences, good practices tools and supports its members' capitalisation processes.
