Trainings on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

The last decade has seen an increased focus on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR) by the United Nations, national and regional human rights institutions, governments, donors, development agencies, courts and NGOs. The field is developing rapidly with monitoring mechanisms and methodologies being created, jurisprudence being produced at the national, regional and international levels, and new actors becoming involved in decision-making. The entry into force of a communication procedure on ESCR at the international level and the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals bring new opportunities and challenges for the realisation of ESCR.These training courses are designed to promote in-depth expert knowledge related to these developments.
