IFAD, Technical Analyst (Land Tenure) (P-2), Rome

Requirements

  • Strong interest in a longer-term career with the United Nations
  • Masters degree with specialization in a land governance-related field
  • At least 3 years’ progressively responsible professional experience in development initiatives, particularly in the context of human rights. 
  • Proven abilities in information analysis
  • Fluency in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of another official IFAD/ILC language (Arabic, French or Spanish) is mandatory
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

Requirements

  • Masters degree
  • At least 3 years, ideally 5 years, of progressively relevant professional experience in a related role providing analytical support with particular respect to economic and financial analysis within a financial institution, development cooperation agencies and/or the United Nations system.
  • Proven track record in reviewing and analyzing financial documents
  • Ability to set out a coherent analysis in presentations or other written products 
  • Fluency in English with strong drafting skills
  • Knowledge of a second UN language. Fluency in French is a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of Arabic or Spanish desirable
  • Swiss nationality
  • Not older than 32 years at the date of the first round of interviews

EBRD, Counsel, Legal Transition, London

This position is financed by SECO.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law with preferably a post-graduate law degree (e.g. LLM) in a second jurisdiction.
  • At least 3 years, of relevant experience as a lawyer, ensuring familiarity with at least one of this area (insolvency and restructuring, access to finance, corporate governance, public procurement, public private partnerships, energy regulation, information and communication technology, and dispute resolution). EBRD counts internships at 100% rate
  • Experience in conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating legal documentation.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to monitor and follow up on many activities concurrently under time constraints and ability to understand and manage priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and client focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in an additional language, in particular Russian, French or Arabic, would be an asset.

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 3 years, of relevant experience in managing donor funded programmes and coordinating donor relations, particularly with multilateral donors, in an international context. EBRD counts internships at 100% rate
  • Understanding of global developmental assistance, particularly from multilateral donors
  • Experience in funds management and accounting, including financial management systems
  • Good negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in an additional language, in particular Russian, French or Arabic, would be an asset.
