Since its foundation in 2006, Plan International Switzerland is working to advance gender equality and children’s rights worldwide.

How we work
For more than 85 years, we have been working to ensure that girls and boys can lead a life free from poverty, violence and injustice. Together with our partners with create the conditions for them to learn, lead, decide and thrive. We actively involve children in over 70 countries and use a participatory and gender transformative approach. We work with partners on multiple levels in society to ensure sustainability.

Children deserve a world that respects them and their rights. In this world, girls do not have to defend themselves, because equality is a given. Every day, our commitment brings us closer to this goal. We place a special focus on the promotion of girls. Because they still suffer greatly from discrimination in many places today, we promote and protect them to a greater extent.
