The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank that has the mandate to foster economic growth in Asia and the Pacifics by investing in infrastructure and other productive areas and promoting regional cooperation and partnership. The AIIB focuses on the development of infrastructure and other productive sectors in Asia, including energy and power, transportation and telecommunications, rural infrastructure and agriculture development, water supply and sanitation, environmental protection, urban development and logistics, etc.

Sought profiles

Recruitment of AIIB's staff will be conducted through a merit-based, open, fair and transparent selection process, broadly similar to processes used in existing multilateral development banks. Professionals with proven experience in development, infrastructure financing and managerial areas from member and non-member states may apply. The selection will be based, inter alia, on technical competence, experience in related sectors, and educational background. Vacancy announcements will be posted on the AIIB website and other media in due course.
